Michelle Risley

Michelle runs a family line dance club with parents Tony and Kathy called Peace-Train since 1998 based in Hertfordshire, north of London in the UK, her dancers are known as Passengers, classes are lively and encourage all levels and ages of dances to fall in love with Linedancing.

With a bubbly, happy personality, Michelle loves all genre of music and is always seen with a smile on the dance floor. Instruction is Michelle's first love, she teaches and hosts events all around the UK and Europe and enjoys meeting new people and dancing to DJ’s and Live Music. 

Crystal Boot Awards - Michelle has been consistently nominated annually since 2008 for Instruction & Female Personality.  Also multiple nominations for Choreographer and Dance categories over the years .  Within the DJ category she received awards in 4 successive years earning an outstanding achievement award in 2024.

Michelle has been awarded and received nominations  by the UKLDA as well CCN Awards. 

Success on the dance floor with her choreography include, Full House (the Gambler) The Wanderer, Summer of Love, Made You Miss, Do a Little Life, I’ll be Thinking of You, Eyes Like Diamonds and most recently Twenty Two.
